Born and raised in Woodburn, Oregon, he started the show to highlight the people, businesses, and organizations that make the community special. A former Woodburn High School wrestler and All-American, he believes in hard work, perseverance, and giving back to the place that shaped him. He still gives back as a volunteer wrestling coach, and each episode he sits down with local business owners, athletes, educators, veterans, and community leaders.

Michael Vasquez

Vice-Chair, Woodburn School Board · Legislative Aide, Oregon State Senate
Michael is a Woodburn native who graduated from Woodburn High School and earned his degree in Political Science from the University of Oregon. He's worked on U.S. Rep. Andrea Salinas' campaign, served as a policy coordinator for PCUN, and coached wrestling. He's spent his career serving the community that raised him.

Brandon Singleterry

Brandon served 22 years in the military across the Marines, Navy, and Army, including a deployment to Afghanistan, before opening Anytime Fitness in Woodburn in 2008. His gym offers 24/7 access, coaching, and a supportive local community.

Brenda Valentin-Bravo

Artist · Public Art Mural Committee · Woodburn School District
Brenda is a Woodburn-raised artist with Purépecha roots from San Jerónimo, Michoacán. She paints and creates murals, works in ceramics, does face painting, and designs banners, turning cultural symbols like cantaritos, monarch butterflies, and Day of the Dead imagery into pieces that honor her heritage and community. She also teaches her craft to students around town.
